dine in brooklyn
From March 15 – 25th its restaurant week in brooklyn. Prix fixe dinners are only $25 and lunches even less at $20.10. I love everything about restaurant week except for the part where I look at the list of participating restaurants, try to decide where to go and my head starts to spin. This year it will be easy. I went through the list and picked out the five restaurants that have the Slow Food ‘Snail of Approval’ (The NYC chapter of Slow Food states that the restaurants with on the list are selected for their “contributions to the quality, authenticity and sustainability of the food supply of the City of New York”).
I highly recommend you make a reservation (or two) from the five establishments below. I have been to the first three and enjoyed my meals there very much. The last two I haven’t been to yet, so I’m planning to take advantage of these great prices. We’d love to hear back about what you ate and how you enjoyed your meal, so please, come back and comment after you’ve been! (Or tell us your thoughts if you already go to these establishments!)
